Biography

Dr. Dhirendra N. Das was born in India and now lives in Northern New Jersey. Dr. Das received his medical degree in India in 1972. He came to England for higher training in 1974 and trained in Natonal Heart Hospital in London. Subsequently he came to America in 1876 and finished his internal medicine residency from St. Joseph Hospital in 1980. Then he gained National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland for Cardiovascular Research Fellowship. Subseqently, he did his clinical cardiology fellowship at John Hopkins Hospital and Tufts New England Medical Center. Dr. Das has been a diplomatin American Board of Internal Meidicine since 1980 and ABIM-Cardiovascular disease since 1983.

Following his cardiovascular training, he joined St. Joseph’s as full time staff as Cardiologist in 1983 and was instrumental in developing the Cardiac rehabilitation program. Dr. Das currently resides in Wayne New Jersey.
